When you create an account we collect information such as your name, email address, and authentication details (for example, a password or sign-in provider).
Journal content
We store the text, categories, dates, participants, and related data you enter in your journal. This may include sensitive personal reflections about relationships, work, faith, and daily experiences.
AI-generated insights
When you request insight, we process your entry (and relevant context you provide) to generate Scripture references, explanations, prayers, and recommended actions. These generated materials are associated with your account.
Usage and device data
We may collect limited technical information such as app version, device type, operating system, and interaction events needed to operate and improve the service (for example, whether a reminder was delivered).
Contacts (optional)
If you use features that involve sharing an entry or adding a participant, you may choose to provide contact details (such as a name, email, or phone number). We only use this information for the purpose you request.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the core journaling and insight features you request
- To generate relevant Scripture, prayers, and recommended actions
- To maintain streaks, journey views, and reminders you enable
- To enable optional sharing of specific entries when you choose to share

We do not sell your personal information or journal content.
3. AI Processing
Scripture insights and related guidance are generated using artificial intelligence systems. Your journal text is sent to these systems solely to produce the insight for you. We design the prompts and retrieval process so that responses remain grounded in Scripture and constructive in tone.
We do not use your private journal entries to train public AI models. Generated insights are stored with your account so you can revisit them.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
Your journal is private by default. Content is shared only when:
- You explicitly choose to share a specific entry or perspective (for example, via the conflict-sharing feature)
- We are required to do so by law or valid legal process
- It is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of LifeVerse, our users, or others
- We engage service providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality and data-processing agreements (hosting, email delivery, analytics, etc.)
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and journal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. You may delete individual entries or request deletion of your account and associated data. Some residual information may remain in backups for a limited period or when required by law.
6. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong unique password and keep your devices updated.
7. Your Choices and Rights

LifeVerse is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.
